Makalu (8,481m), the fifth highest mountain of the world lying on theNepal – Tebet border has the virtue of observing the Nepal’s most major peaks to the east of the Everest. The trek starts right from the Arun Valley. This region, considered as one of the non-tourist area is famous for its unique flora and fauna not for Nepal but also for the world. Transit visa for one day can be obtained from Nepal’s immigration offices at the entry points.
Upon the production of departure flight ticket via Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal by paying USD $5 of equivalent currency.
