Mount Everest. To the Nepalese it is simply called Sagarmatha, the “sky head”. To the Tibetans it is Chomolungma, the mother goddess of the earth. if you are interested to view the world’s highest Mountain, We offers this exciting trek in the Everest Region that give you the opportunity to fulfill a desire, some of the most magnificent view in the Himalayas.
We start our trek from Lukla after taking half an hour flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. When we land at its tiny airstrip, the adventure trekking really begins.
This is considered as the highly praised trekking route to Everest region. It was in 1952 when two renowned figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Sherpa had taken the same route to Mt. Everest. During this trekking, we take you through lush valleys with abundant flora and fauna, past friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monastaries like tengboche monastery, and far above the tree line towards the earth’s highest mountains.
This fascinating trek offers an wonderful opportunity to climb kalapathar (5,545m), overlooking the base camp area, superb view of the highest mountains including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu etc.
The trek requires a reasonable level of fitness – enough to walk up and down moderate hills on good trails carrying a small day pack. The rest of your gear will carried by porters. Most days involve up to five hours walking and, particularly earlier in the trip, the days are shortest to make acclimatization to altitude easier.
