Nepal

Located between India and Tibet, Nepal offers a fantastic array of attractions for visiting tourists. Nepal is best known as the home of Mount Everest but there is so much more to the country than just one mountain, albeit the highest mountain on earth. From the steamy jungles of the plains to the highest point in the world the range of scenery is so diverse and spectacular as to offer an unforgettable experience to everyone, whatever their tastes.

The people of Nepal are a cosmopolitan mixture of many different ethnic groups, some originating form the north and some having migrated from India. Over the centuries, newcomers have integrated in to present a mixture of people collectively known as Nepali. With more then 60 distinct ethnic groups speaking more than 70 different languages and dialects, and each having their own distinct culture, the experience for visitors to Nepal is unlike that to be found anywhere else.

Tibet

Welcome to Tibet – a land rich in culture, tradition and religion among the far flung unique landscape that is aptly called the ‘Roof of the World’. This part of the world, now Chinese territory but retaining its own identity, is more easily accessible, especially from neighboring Nepal.
The main trip we run is a seven night/eight day road trip from Kathmandu to Lhasa with the option of returning to Kathmandu included (although many chose to make their own way into China). This tour can be run either with a group by bus or as a private trip in a four-wheel-drive and will include all breakfasts along the way. Please see the itinerary below, all group tours leave on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but do ask us if you need to leave a different day and we will try to accommodate your request.
Let the age old Tibetan myths & mysteries cast an enchanted spell that holds its visitors in thrill and excitement.

Bhutan

The Dragon Kingdom
Bhutan, often revered as the ‘Land of the Peaceful Dragon’, is still regarded as one of the last ‘Shangri-La’s’ in the Himalayan region because of its remoteness, it’s spectacular mountain terrain, varied flora and fauna and its unique ancient Buddhist monasteries. It remains tucked away in the relatively unexplored pocket of Asia which allows only a limited number of discerning travelers to enter the country in order to protect its fragile environment and culture.

Bhutan is a purely Buddhist Kingdom and is unsurpassed in its scenic majesty and vibrant culture. The Kingdom shares with Nepal the world’s greatest concentration of mountains and living heritage of Buddhism. The fifty minute flight from Kathmandu to Paro can truly be described as a flight into fantasy. During the flight one receives a close up view of Mount Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga and other famous peaks. Bi-weekly flights between these two nations have made the travel to the long isolated Dragon Kingdom of Bhutan comparatively easier.
