Kusum Kangru is one of the first mountains that can be seen on the Jiri- Everest Base Camp trek. Its ridges are very steep and are razor sharp and thus, this is one of the most difficult trekking peaks (the fee is about US $300) in the Everest region. Serious climbing skills are needed for scaling this mountain.
One glance is sufficient to know that this is a very serious climb. In the past, Kusum Kangru repelled four attempts before the first ascent was made by a Japanese party. A number of different routes have subsequently been made and among them, the East face is considered to be comparatively less demanding however, none of the routes are considered to be easy.
Our package cost includes the following services:

Transit visa for one day can be obtained from Nepal’s immigration offices at the entry points.
