These peaks are part of Manang Himal, which are quite rightly included in the larger Damodar Himal, the eastern limit of which runs south from Chako Peak 6687m in a north-to-south direction along the Hunlung Khola, Nar Khola and Phu Khola. To the south, it is bounded by the Marsyangdi Khola and the Mesokanta La. To the west, it extends up to the Kali Gandaki and to the north; its limit is the Parchekya La (5,447m/17870ft).

Chulu West:

The obvious approach to this peak diverges from the main trail to the Thorung La pass past the village of Manang. The Base Camp is established in a small valley to the North and from the base camp, the route follows a subsidiary North-West ridge that leads up to the main peak. One needs to attempt to scale the peak and return the same day as setting camp up on the slope, above the base camp, is not easy. You can also attempt to scale the Chulu Central peak (6,429m/21,060ft) that lies just east of Chulu West..

Chulu East:

The North-East Ridge is considered to be the normal route to climb this peak from a Base Camp on the moraines. Most climbers make it to the top (5334m/ 17500ft) and return to the Base Camp in one long day although some have, in the past, established a higher camp somewhere below the peak. Another subsidiary peak called the Chulu Far East (6059m/19880ft) can also be attempted from this side.

Our package cost excludes the following services:

• Meals in Kathmandu (Lunch and Dinner).
• Personal equipments of Trekking and Climbing period such as down jacket, sleeping bag, etc., and personal climbing equipment such as ice axe, climbing boots, crampons, harness, figure-8, carabineers, goggles etc., as required (full list will be provided after participants sign-up on a climbing trek).

• Emergency Rescue evacuation by helicopter incase needed our company can provide any time.
• Walki Takie permit & Satellite phone permit if you bring with you and if necessary. .

     Multiple entry 15 days USD $25 or equivalent convertible currency
     Multiple entry 30 days USD $40 or equivalent convertible currency
     Multiple entry 90 days USD $100 or equivalent convertible currency
  3. Tourist Visa Extension
     01: Visa extension fee for 15 days or less is USD $30 or equivalent convertible currency and visa extension fee for more than 15 days is USD $2 per day
     02: Tourist visa can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January-December)..
  4. TRANSIT VISA
     Transit visa for one day can be obtained from Nepal’s immigration offices at the entry points.
     Upon the production of departure flight ticket via Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal by paying USD $5 of equivalent currency.
