The Langtang Region is protected as the Langtang National Park by the Government of Nepal. The region is home to the Tamang people and is a prime tourist destination offering adventure activities like trekking, peak climbing and white-water rafting.
Our trek starts from Dhunche as we descend to the Trishuli river before joining the route that leads to Rasuwa Ghari and the Langtang valley. We arrive in the Langtang valley on the fifth day of our trek. Another major highlight of this trek is the Kyanjin Gompa Monastery in Kyanjin Gompa. The Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Morimoto, Dragmarpo Ri and Yala Maya are some of the famous peaks located in this region.
