Langtang gosainkund Helambu trek is 3 different parts of Langtang region trek combination, where you can do Langtang gosainkund and Helambu trek once visit in your holiday. The trek starts with syabrubesi and end at Melamchi Bazar in Helambu valley. This trek took 15 days all together. The first trek start with Langtang trekking with passing the river upstream through forests of pine, bamboo and rhodondendron, ascending through pastures to arrive at the alpine stone’s throw from the Tibetan border. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the middle Hills. According to legend a Lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley. Hence the name- Lang is Tibetan for “Yak” and Teng (more correctly Dhang) means “To Follow”. Yaks still live in the upper valley, but they now share it with trekkers. There are some particularly fine excursions from Kyanjn Gompa so allow a few extra days for exploration of the extensive glacier system.

And the second trek follow with Gosainkund sacred lakes steeply climbs through farmland and above the treeline up an alpine ridge that offers a huge Himalayan Panorama, to reach the rocky bowl studded with sacred high-altitude lakes. We cross Laurebina La (4,610) pass through the gosainkund lakes and the trek follows the helambu valley Tharepati, Kutumsang and Helambu. The ranges of mountains that rise above us match the diversity of the people we meet. From low altitudes we have excellent views of mountains that include Langtang, the Annapurna’s, Manaslu and even Everest on a clear day. This is a pleasant and exciting journey, a time to relax and become immersed in the beauty of the Himalayas.

Melamchi Bazar is our end of the trek and drive back to Kathmandu.
